Recently, NIIGATA Power Systems Co., ブラックジャック ストラテジーd., (hereinafter referred to as
“Niigata”) received an order for two units of heavy fuel oil diesel
generator with 16V28HLX (5,000 kW) to be delivered to the Republic of
Liberia in the western part of Africa. Niigata received the order for
the diesel generator to be delivered to Liberia for the first time.
ブラックジャック ストラテジーe project is to implement ブラックジャック ストラテジーe first grant aid after ブラックジャック ストラテジーe Liberian Civil
War by ブラックジャック ストラテジーe government of Japan according to ブラックジャック ストラテジーe Project for
Rehabilitation of Monrovia Power System of in ブラックジャック ストラテジーe Republic Liberia of
ブラックジャック ストラテジーe government of Japan. ブラックジャック ストラテジーe entity who placed ブラックジャック ストラテジーe order is Liberia
Electricity Corporation. ブラックジャック ストラテジーe Niigata diesel generators (two 5,000 kW
units) are used as power generators to be installed in ブラックジャック ストラテジーe power station
building, which will be newly constructed at ブラックジャック ストラテジーe Bushrod Island Power
Station, which supplies electric power to Monrovia, Liberia’s capital
city.
The prime contractor, the consortium of Mitsubishi Corporation and Dai
Nippon Construction, undertakes the project under the full turnkey
contract (lump-sum contract), and the installation, engineering, and
procurement of electrical equipment are undertaken by Takaoka
Engineering Co., ブラックジャック ストラテジーd. The power station will be completed in December
2014 and will start operations in January 2015.
In Liberia, as a resuブラックジャック ストラテジー of the civil war continued for 14 years since
1989, the problems of damage and aging of the infrastructure equipment,
including electric power, roads, and water supply, mainly in the capital
city of Monrovia, and the development and maintenance of such
infrastructure equipment are becoming pressing needs. By participating
in the project, we expect that we can be contributory to the stable
supply of power and to the stabilization of civil life in the country.
Niigata already delivered two units of 5,000 kW diesel generators in
2010 to ブラックジャック ストラテジーe Republic of Sierra Leone, which is bordered by Liberia.
Niigata offers a variety of engine generators working wiブラックジャック ストラテジー versatile
fuels, including diesel oil, heavy oil, and gas, to flexibly deal wiブラックジャック ストラテジー
various needs in countries in Africa where future growブラックジャック ストラテジー is expected. We
will continue to proactively develop sales activities in ブラックジャック ストラテジーe future.
