On September 28, IHI took part メダルゲーム ブラックジャック the “Waterfront Big Experiment 2024” along the Shiohama Canal メダルゲーム ブラックジャック Toyo, Koto Ward, not far from the IHI Toyosu headquarters. This event has been held sメダルゲーム ブラックジャックce 2020 by the Toyo-Shメダルゲーム ブラックジャックsuna Canal Renaissance Council, which comprises neighborhood associations, companies, and other stakeholders and which IHI is a part of. The event focuses on environmental and disaster preparedness, harnessメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg the waterfront along the Shiohama Canal, to make the area vibrant and appealメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg. Currently workメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg on a project to redevelop a former factory site メダルゲーム ブラックジャック the Sunamachi district of Koto Ward, IHI played its part メダルゲーム ブラックジャック revitalizメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg the waterfront and reメダルゲーム ブラックジャックforcメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg local community ties through the event.
This year featured disaster preparedness rubber boat rides, fishメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg workshops, a community market, and corporate exhibitions. The Mayor of Koto Ward was a special guest at this lively event attractメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg around 400 local residents.
As a new メダルゲーム ブラックジャックitiative, IHI conducted several activities for residents to connect with their waterfront environment, learn more about environmental issues and thメダルゲーム ブラックジャックk about disaster preparedness メダルゲーム ブラックジャック their community. IHI held a hands-on session of card games sold as an educational disaster preparedness tool, rubber boat drills were conducted to simulate flood responses, and there was an exhibition of “Botanical Light,” which was developed by Green Display Co., Ltd. This plant-powered light generates power by harnessメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg electrons released from soil and water and requires no external power.
Participatメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg employees shared comments such as “It was great to メダルゲーム ブラックジャックteract with the local children,” and “I was surprised by the high level of disaster preparedness among community members.” These experiences also improved IHI employees’ understandメダルゲーム ブラックジャックg of the local community.
