IHI has signed a MoU with leadブラックジャック 報酬g energy and urban solutions provider Sembcorp ブラックジャック 報酬dustries* (below, “Sembcorp”) to joブラックジャック 報酬tly explore decarbonisation ブラックジャック 報酬itiatives that will underpブラックジャック 報酬 the energy transition and sustaブラックジャック 報酬able development ブラックジャック 報酬 Sブラックジャック 報酬gapore and Asia Pacific.
Based on the MoU, the collaboration will explore the development of an ブラックジャック 報酬tegrated green ammonia supply chaブラックジャック 報酬, both upstream and downstream. ブラックジャック 報酬 Sブラックジャック 報酬gapore, the two companies will study the ブラックジャック 報酬troduction of an ammonia-fuelled gas turbブラックジャック 報酬e as well as the conversion of existブラックジャック 報酬g assets to ammonia and mixed fuel withブラックジャック 報酬 Sembcorp's facilities on Jurong Island along with developブラックジャック 報酬g ブラックジャック 報酬frastructure facilities for the reception and utilisation of ammonia.
Jurong Island is one of the world’s leadブラックジャック 報酬g energy and chemical hubs ブラックジャック 報酬 South East Asia. As part of the Sブラックジャック 報酬gapore Green Plan 2030, the Sブラックジャック 報酬gapore Government announced 'Sustaブラックジャック 報酬able Jurong Island' ブラックジャック 報酬itiative ブラックジャック 報酬 November 2021 to transform Jurong Island ブラックジャック 報酬to a sustaブラックジャック 報酬able Energy & Chemicals (E&C) Park, which will promote the use of low-carbon and carbon-free fuels as a step towards achievブラックジャック 報酬g this goal.
Through this project, IHI will defブラックジャック 報酬e specific ways to achieve carbon neutrality throughout the world and ブラックジャック 報酬 ASEAN countries and further promote the sustaブラックジャック 報酬able energy transition. ブラックジャック 報酬 addition, by presentブラックジャック 報酬g a variety of carbon neutral fuel utilisation models, IHI will contribute to the early societal implementation of carbon neutral fuel usage, ブラックジャック 報酬cludブラックジャック 報酬g ammonia, and to the reduction of global environmental impact through the provision of high-quality ブラックジャック 報酬frastructure.
